Thanksgiving landed on our 4th Anniversary. It certainly made me especially grateful for this man carving the turkey:
I was also grateful for the kitchen helpers, since it was my first time hosting Thanksgiving dinner
and the faithful dishwasher.
I'm always happy to let others make the main course and just stick with desserts. Like my six-layer spice cake with maple cream cheese frosting!

Oh yes, and I made four pies too!
